once upon a time...
A few French souls hopped across the Channel with a suitcase full of dreams, a stash of camembert, and a taste for adventure that couldn’t be tamed. They landed in the city of London and soon learned that being French here came with a nickname: frogs.
Some might haven taken offense. We decided to take the name, dress it in pink, and make it ours.
“Croak Proudly” is our rallying cry for French expats (and anyone who feels a little bit between worlds). It’s about celebrating the quirks, embracing the clichés, and wearing our Frenglish identity with pride.
From apparel to homeware, from notebooks to tote bags, every item we make is a love letter to our French roots and our London boots — equal parts croissant and crumpet, café terrace and pub corner.
So here’s to living loudly, laughing often, and croaking proudly in the heart of the city we now call home.

Nelisa is proudly French but has been calling London home for the past five years. Inspired by the thrill (and occasional chaos) of blending two vibrant cultures, she launched Frogs in the City to celebrate the unique identity, resilience, and style of her fellow bicultural frogs.
